New Modular Family and Consumer Sciences Program

Ready 4 Life covers many advanced topics, while incorporating life lessons, skill development, and career investigation within segments of the FACS industry.
This fun new program, also meets 100% of the national Family and Consumer Sciences’ standards, thereby giving the students the opportunity for the ultimate FACS learning experience!

Ready 4 Life touches on numerous FACS career areas, giving students valuable knowledge and hands-on experiences. In addition, DEPCO has incorporated opportunities for exposure to FCCLA in each of our modules.

Ready 4 Life Curriculum Framework

Each module contains fifteen activities, which, include ten primary, and five enrichment activities. The combination of these self-directed modules, organized group activities, and individual student projects provide a multitude of Family and Consumer Sciences lessons.

Classroom Management

ClassPLUS is an electronic classroom management system that promotes student/instructor interaction by eliminating time spent away from the students and outside the classroom.

Multimedia Curriculum

DEPCO has incorporated its very own multimedia based curriculum, MediaPLUS, into the Ready 4 Life program. This innovative software provides an interactive and entertaining approach to learning that appeals to students across the board. Students will be captivated by fun animations, challenging interactions, relevant digital videos, and much more!
