I have two modules where Assistant crashes when I try to click on the “view” pull down menu. I need to do this in order to bring up all the window the students use. I tried utilizing the “repair” setting on the installation CD but it didn’t repair the problem.
For the Assistant error you are getting all you need to do is within Assistant click on Tools > Explore > Current Users Data Path. This will open up another window. Move the window out of the way for the time being. Close Assistant. Now go back to the window that opened. In there you will find some XML files. Delete them and close the window. Now restart Assistant.
