I have one station that stopped running Depco Assistant. When I open the program it will try to start and then shut down. We unistalled Assistant and re-installed but that didn't help. We also reformated the hard drive thinking that we had a bad sector but that didn't fix it either. Any ideas?

Okay, I uninstalled assistant AND deleted the assistant folder from the hard drive. I then re-installed assistant from the class plus CD. Assistant will now open and run but when I try to run the set up wizard it gives me a long error message that basically tells me that it can't find the set up utillity. Now what?

This sounds like an issue we had with an older version of Assistant. I'd cancel the wizard and then go to help and check for updates and see if there is an update available. If all else fails you can go to another student station and browse to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\DEPCO\Assistant v2. In there you will see 2 XML files copy them to a thumb drive and them paste them into the same location on the student station you are having the problem with. They contain all of the connection information, and there will be no need to go through the wizard.
